Balatonberény's picturesque beach, which can be used free of charge, is a unique, long stretch of shore divided by small islands and bays, which can starts from the sports field till the end of the town. 

The concept of congestion is unknown to those who swim in the spacious, well-kept green area. The section is easily and quickly accessible by car and bicycle from several smaller roads, parking is free. Public toilet is free to use. Access to the water is facilitated by walkers and small catchments.

The environment is great for sports. There is enough space to play football, badminton or frisbee. In shallow water, the little ones can practice swimming safely while the older ones - in the right weather - can hone their surfing, kite-surfing, or sailing skills.
