The largest free beach of Balatonfenyves is located in the central part of the town, in the parallel with Balatonpart street, it is approximately one kilometre long. It is a popular place for families with small children, as  beach is slowly deepening, and sandy. The "Balaton Sandbox" is great for children, the Balatonfenyves Tourist Association operates a paddle boat rental on the beach, the tested and annually inspected playgrounds, changing rooms, toilets and cold water showers can be used free of charge.
